Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Designer to join Level's creative team, working remotely across the U.S. and Canada. This full-time position invites a designer who excels at transforming ideas, briefs, or rough concepts into impactful digital creatives that drive measurable results. The role involves fast-paced multitasking across numerous projects with evolving specifications and constructive feedback loops.

Role Expectations

You will collaborate across disciplines with strategists, copywriters, art directors, developers, and senior creative team members to produce engaging digital visuals including paid advertisements, social media content, landing pages, and emails. This role demands adaptability, initiative, meticulous attention to detail, and agility in working with AI-assisted design tools to iterate and optimize creative assets efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver visual content from conceptualization to final output across digital channels such as paid ads, social media, websites, email, and display advertising.
Create performance-driven ad creatives tailored for major platforms including Meta, Google, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines and creative best practices across deliverables.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams—creative strategists, copywriters, art directors, developers—and incorporate feedback from senior creative staff.
Coordinate with client service, strategy, and media teams to align creative output with campaign objectives.
Manage urgent design requests including resizing, editing, and asset refinement.
Utilize performance data and feedback to continuously improve creative designs post-launch.
Employ AI tools routinely for rapid ideation, image creation, variation generation, and iterative design improvements.
Stay informed on latest design trends, AI capabilities, and platform updates.

Success Indicators

Creative assets are flawless and platform-compliant at launch, minimizing last-minute fixes.
Designs evolve based on performance insights rather than being static deliverables.
Integration of AI tools enhances speed and quality of design iterations.
Increasing autonomy in handling projects with diminishing dependence on direct oversight.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum of 3 to 4 years professional design experience or equivalent education.
A robust portfolio showcasing work in digital ad design and branding.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
Familiarity with integrating AI tools into design workflows.
Comprehensive understanding of digital advertisement formats and best platform practices.
Knowledge of user experience principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
Strong organizational and time management skills managing multiple projects concurrently.
Clear communicator and effective collaborative team player.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working in digital marketing agencies.
Basic skills in video editing, animation, or motion graphics.

Compensation

U.S.-based candidates: $60,000 to $70,000 USD annually.
Canada-based candidates: $70,000 to $80,000 CAD annually.
