Digital Transformation Manager

About the Role

The position involves formulating and steering a comprehensive digital transformation strategy over multiple years, aimed at enhancing organizational operations and decision-making processes. The company operates with robust platforms but requires enhanced integration and connectivity.

Role Context

This role focuses on transformation strategy, business change, and technology advancement. Responsibilities include evaluating, designing, and leading a digital roadmap encompassing system integration, modernization of procedures, data optimization, and leading organizational change.

Currently, financial, planning, design, and scheduling platforms function in isolation, with much reliance on manual tasks and spreadsheets. The successful candidate will assess the existing framework and roadmap, validate the strategy's adequacy, ensure system interoperability, and promote data insights to optimize processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and champion a digital transformation roadmap incorporating system integration, process enhancements, and data utilization.
• Analyze existing systems and challenges; craft a phased plan with initial quick wins followed by strategic priorities.
• Lead initiatives for cloud migration and system connectivity to eliminate fragmentation and reliance on spreadsheets.
• Foster change leadership and adoption across departments including operations, planning, finance, and commercial.
• Develop a data governance framework and establish analytics and business intelligence capabilities to support data-driven decision making.
• Define success measures and iteratively refine the roadmap based on feedback and insights.

Requirements

• Eight to twelve years of experience leading digital or business/technology transformation projects within sectors such as manufacturing, construction, or technical services.
• Demonstrated success in creating and implementing transformation strategies that yield quantifiable benefits.
• Experience with systems integration, ERP, or data modernization.
• Strategic mindset connecting technological solutions to business outcomes.
