Job Overview and Responsibilities
The role involves thorough cleaning of kitchen utensils such as pots, pans, and trays, ensuring all washed items are properly stored. Maintaining the tidiness of the dishwashing station and equipment is essential, as is disposing of rubbish appropriately and cleaning trash bins. The dish washer will also follow safety protocols and use required safety gear when working in the kitchen environment. Additional tasks may be assigned by a supervisor.
Working Conditions and Requirements
Candidates must be physically able to handle manual tasks and operate dishwashing machinery. The work environment includes exposure to warm, oily, and humid conditions. Ability to function well both independently and as part of a team is necessary. Maintaining proper food hygiene standards and adherence to dishwashing SOPs is mandatory. Possession of a WSQ Food & Hygiene Certificate is required.
