Central to delivering exceptional customer experiences is our Building Materials Distribution Centre, ensuring products are safely and promptly delivered.
Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Dispatch Coordinator to join our Dispatch team. This pivotal role involves managing delivery schedules, optimizing routes, supporting the fleet, and closely collaborating with the Distribution Centre team to guarantee customers receive accurate products punctually. The position blends planning, problem-solving, and customer interaction to maintain seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and schedule all outgoing deliveries effectively.
- Develop efficient routing plans to maximize vehicle usage.
- Ensure precise picking, processing, documentation, and dispatch of orders.
- Monitor deliveries and promptly address any inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with warehouse and trade teams to prepare deliveries for the next day.
- Deliver excellent customer service and devise practical delivery solutions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
