About the Role

The Driver is tasked with delivering safe, reliable, and timely transportation services for company personnel, executives, clients, and materials. This position requires maintaining the assigned vehicle to high standards of safety, cleanliness, and functionality, always complying with traffic laws and upholding the organization's professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport company employees, executives, and visitors safely to their required destinations.
• Ensure prompt pick-ups and drop-offs as per official schedules.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic rules and road safety regulations while driving.
• Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after each journey.
• Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition at all times.
• Monitor fuel usage and coordinate refueling to prevent delays.
• Ensure the vehicle undergoes regular maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Immediately report any accidents, mechanical issues, or damages to management.
• Maintain detailed logs of mileage, fuel consumption, servicing, and trips undertaken.
• Assist with the transport of official documents and packages when necessary.
• Keep all relevant vehicle documentation, such as insurance, license, registration, and certificates, current and compliant.
• Plan routes effectively to reduce travel time and optimize fuel efficiency.
• Maintain confidentiality concerning company activities and movements of executives.
• Provide support for additional administrative or logistical tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications

• At least an SSCE/WAEC certificate; higher qualifications like a diploma are beneficial.
• Hold a valid Nigerian driver's license.
• Possess a minimum of three years of professional driving experience.
• Have strong familiarity with road networks in Abuja and nearby areas.
• Maintain a clean driving record without serious traffic violations.
