Role Overview
We are seeking a Document Controller to join our major data centre project based in Dublin 15. This role is crucial in maintaining the seamless operation of a fast-moving construction site by managing and controlling all project documentation efficiently, aligned with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all project documentation complies with company protocols and the Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Distribute and monitor documents so relevant stakeholders have access to updated materials, including drawings, schedules, specifications, contracts, submittals, RFIs, and reports.
- Maintain and regularly update project registers, such as the document register, RFI register, action log, and issue log.
- Analyze data from project logs to identify outstanding tasks or overdue actions and summarise findings.
- Produce routine reports to facilitate project tracking, including document status and overdue items.
- Ensure precise storage and version control of all project documents in accordance with document control procedures.
- Coordinate with external consultants and contractors to verify their documentation meets project standards.
- Assist Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and Health & Safety (HSE) teams by supporting audits and ensuring compliance with document-related processes.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of five years’ experience in a similar site-based document control role.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Highly organized with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with IT applications.
- Familiarity with knowledge-sharing platforms is a beneficial addition.
