Role Overview
This role sits within the Data Operations & Orchestration team supporting the Innovative Medicine Supply Chain. The team is responsible for delivering dependable data that enables product launches and supply operations across APeJC markets. The position is based in Singapore and supports markets across APAC, excluding China and Japan, with the broader team also spanning Korea, India, and other APAC locations.
The analyst will handle day-to-day material master data operations, contribute to small and mid-sized projects, and solve moderately complex problems using established policies and procedures. The work involves maintaining compliant data environments, improving processes through automation and workflow enhancements, and helping ensure quality, speed, and cost efficiency across supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
The role covers operational execution, data governance, and coordination across internal and external partners.
- Maintain master data objects accurately and on time, including Material Master, Purchase Info Record, Source List, and related records in SAP/ECC and through automated workflow tools.
- Carry out impact checks and feasibility reviews for change requests so planning, production, release, finance, and other business processes can run smoothly.
- Oversee data operations and data quality activities, including testing support, error resolution, data conversion, validation, and audit or compliance follow-up such as NC and CAPA actions.
- Provide practical direction to third-party teams and support escalation handling for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with partners on tactical issues, including complex change assessments, project prioritization, strategic launches, and local compliance or audit activities.
- Help improve existing data designs, templates, and workflows with a focus on business outcomes and continuous improvement.
- Implement and monitor tools and processes that strengthen execution.
- Prepare metrics, dashboards, and tracking materials to support departmental performance and operational visibility.
- Assist with budget-related or value-capture processes within the established framework.
- Take part in, and at times lead, operational and governance meetings involving supply chain, value capture, and third-party reviews.
- Create and maintain documentation such as SOPs, work instructions, protocols, data quality catalogs, and other policy or procedure materials.
- Train business partners on procedures, data flows, and related operational practices.
- Support the rollout and adoption of the Data Management Framework.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of relevant professional business experience.
- Prior experience in healthcare or FMCG is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with data processing systems, especially SAP; OMP+ is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of master data processing tools and procedures.
- Understanding of GxP requirements.
- Knowledge of supply chain data elements, processes, and operating models, including tools such as SAP Winshuttle and Data Quality platforms.
- Exposure to global, regional, or cross-sector environments.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Excellent organization and prioritization abilities.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships, influence stakeholders, and align on shared goals without compromising outcomes.
- Comfort working in a diverse, multicultural, and remote team environment.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities in a matrix setting where requirements can change quickly.
- Fluent English communication skills are required.
- Willingness to travel up to 5% domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications
Supply chain certifications such as Lean Yellow Belt are preferred.
Working Relationships
Internal stakeholders may include the Data Strategy and Operations team, Value Chain Management roles such as supply chain development leads, planning teams, finance, quality, warehouse and deliver functions, and regulatory teams. External interactions will involve third-party suppliers supporting operational and project work.
