Financial Data Analyst

Position Overview

The Financial Data Analyst role is a contract position offering flexible commitment between 10 to 40 hours per week, with hourly compensation ranging from $40 to $65. This opportunity is fully remote and based in Canada.

Primary Responsibilities

• Examine and interpret intricate financial datasets ensuring high standards of annotation quality and data integrity.
• Employ advanced spreadsheet functionalities to organize, verify, and manipulate significant volumes of financial data.
• Assign labels, annotate, and classify financial data consistently and accurately.
• Work collaboratively with data science and product teams to provide financial insights.
• Audit financial documentation for completeness and adherence to prescribed guidelines.
• Present findings effectively in written and oral communication to both technical and general audiences.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven experience in finance, financial analysis, or a related discipline.
• Advanced skills in spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Track record of working with financial data annotation or labeling processes.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Exceptional attention to detail and precision in managing and reporting data.
