Key Duties

• Execute comprehensive floor care duties—cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
• Operate floor care machinery safely and effectively.
• Document floor care activities and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Adhere to infection control practices and universal precautions to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Engage positively with residents, staff, and guests, delivering excellent customer service.
• Carry out additional tasks as directed.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience with floor care is desirable but not mandatory.
• Maintain a positive demeanor and communicate effectively with building users, management, and HCSG leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
• Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for prolonged periods.
• Capable of performing routine and repetitive tasks consistently.
• Able to work in proximity to food and cleaning chemicals safely.
• Follow both oral and written instructions accurately.
• Residency in the service area is mandatory.
