Role Overview

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is looking for a Housekeeper to help keep a long-term care facility clean, sanitary, and safe. This position supports a resident-focused environment and contributes directly to the comfort and experience of those living and working in the facility.

Compensation

The starting pay for this position is USD 13.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning duties in resident rooms, bathrooms, shared spaces, and office areas.
• Use approved procedures and safety practices to maintain proper sanitation across the facility.
• Keep cleaning logs or related records up to date and escalate maintenance or safety concerns to a supervisor.
• Apply infection-control measures and universal precautions to support a hygienic environment.
• Communicate courteously with residents, coworkers, and visitors while delivering strong service.
• Complete other assigned tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• Housekeeping background is an advantage, though not mandatory.
• A positive attitude and the ability to communicate well with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Willingness to comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Capability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Comfort with repetitive tasks performed continuously.
• Ability to work around cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Ability to follow spoken and written instructions consistently.
• Residency within the service area is required.
