About the Role

AlphaStaffHCM is looking for a Human Resources Generalist who will offer comprehensive HR support to clients nationwide via virtual and onsite interactions. This position involves assisting clients and internal teams with HR guidance, service plan execution, and organizational needs assessment.

Primary Duties

  • Act as an HR advisor to clients, offering counsel on employee relations matters such as evaluations, improvement plans, investigations, and terminations while reporting outcomes to promote best practices and reduce organizational risks.
  • Help clients identify HR challenges, explore solutions, and support the implementation of agreed strategies.
  • Assist clients in developing company policies and utilizing HR vendor systems like ATS, background checks, salary surveys, LMS, and HRIS onboarding.
  • Create employee handbooks compliant with state and federal regulations using the company's handbook builder tool.
  • Deliver training sessions and webinars on HR topics and system use.
  • Collaborate with HRIS users internally and externally to understand needs and implement solutions.
  • Provide technical support including employment verification, labor law poster management, compensation reporting, password resets, and certificate of insurance requests.
  • Support Client Services with Salesforce case management and closure.
  • Continually enhance HR knowledge through education, professional reading, and networking.
  • Perform additional related responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • At least three years of experience as an HR Generalist, including administration of leave and compliance with FMLA, ADA, and related laws.
