About the Role

Join Badger Infrastructure Solutions as an Industrial Assistant Operator, where you will manage and operate industrial cleaning equipment used for maintaining tanks and facility structures. This position requires handling high-pressure pumps, hydro-blasting units, and vacuum truck hoses with a strong focus on safety and precision. Your contributions will support essential industrial operations in environments like refineries and power plants.

Key Responsibilities

• Setup and operate cleaning equipment such as high-pressure pumps, hydro-blasting systems, and vacuum units, adhering strictly to operational guidelines and safety protocols.
• Complete all required safety documentation and comply fully with training and operational procedures, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work safely amidst heavy machinery within challenging industrial settings characterized by loud and potentially hazardous conditions.
• Carry out manual cleaning and maintenance duties, including installation, fitting, and repair of valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and other tank-related equipment.
• Assist in equipment inspections and verify the safety of the work area before commencing tasks, promptly reporting any concerns or issues to supervisors.

Candidate Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
• Valid driver's license to support travel requirements.
• Willingness and ability to travel for extended durations as necessary.
• Capability to execute duties in line with training and established procedures.
• Customer service orientation and comfort engaging with clients.
• Enthusiasm for working collaboratively in a safety-centric environment.
• Competency in using technology related to job functions.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screenings, including physical examination, driver's record review, and drug/alcohol testing.
