Role Overview
Vacons Architects | Design & Build is looking for an Interior Designer to join its team. The position focuses on turning client needs into practical, visually strong interior concepts that suit the brand, budget, and functional goals of each project.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit project sites to review existing conditions and gather design inputs from clients or the Business Department.
- Build interior and architectural concepts that reflect the brand, meet usage needs, and stay within budget.
- Prepare 2D space plans, 3D visual concepts, and support material choices such as finishes, colors, and furniture.
- Work closely with technical and construction teams to make sure the design can be executed properly.
- Join client presentation meetings when needed and explain design ideas clearly.
- Take on additional tasks assigned by the direct manager.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related discipline is required.
- About 1–2 years of experience in interior design projects is preferred.
- Experience with office, F&B, retail, show unit, or school design will be considered an advantage.
- Ability to use design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Lumion, and similar software.
- Good English communication skills are needed.
