About the Role
This position offers a hands-on sales and customer service experience, perfect for individuals with a mechanical curiosity and a willingness to engage with various industries in New Zealand. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver product support and service to a broad customer base.
- Provide front counter assistance by managing enquiries and order processing through phone, email, and direct counter sales.
- Perform warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, and making local deliveries when necessary.
- Build and nurture customer relationships to position the branch as the preferred supplier.
- Help develop and execute promotional activities in the showroom to boost counter sales.
Required Experience and Skills
- Two to three years’ relevant experience in the industry.
- Strong communication skills paired with excellent phone etiquette and a strong customer service focus.
- A natural problem solver with a curious mind comfortable engaging with blue-collar, construction, and industrial sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
