Junior Project Manager

About the Position

This remote role offers an opportunity for a Junior Project Manager to contribute to the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of various projects. The candidate will support project activities by organizing schedules, maintaining communication with all involved parties, and helping to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the end-to-end planning and execution of projects
• Manage project schedules, resources, and deliverables
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and milestones and provide updates
• Enable clear communication between the project team, stakeholders, and external vendors
• Develop and maintain project documentation, create reports and presentations
• Identify potential risks and challenges, assisting in developing mitigation plans
• Track project performance with respect to KPIs and set objectives
• Support the application of Agile or traditional project management methods
• Ensure timely and scope-compliant project delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Familiar with project management software such as MS Project, Asana, Trello, or Jira
• Ability to juggle multiple assignments and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of project methodologies including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall
• Certification like CAPM or PMP, or actively pursuing such credentials
• Experience with budgeting and resource allocation
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
