Role Summary and Responsibilities
The Labourer position, based in Moncton, NB, involves active participation in vehicle dismantling and recycling operations. This hands-on role is well suited for automobile enthusiasts who thrive in dynamic environments.
- Safely dismantle and depollute vehicles using both manual and powered tools
- Prepare vehicles for resale and/or showcase within the yard
- Remove wheels, rims, and tires from vehicles
- Clean, test, and categorize batteries for resale purposes
- Sort and manage salvaged parts for inventory tracking
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the yard and workspace
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience in general labour or a related field
- Physical capability to lift weights up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
- Dependable with a willingness to expand knowledge across business areas
- Comfortable working outside in various weather conditions
