Role overview

Emirates Flight Catering is looking for a Light Duty Driver in Dubai. The role is focused on safe, efficient, and customer-friendly transport of processed items and linen, while keeping the vehicle fleet compliant, clean, and operationally ready.

Key responsibilities

• Follow UAE road traffic laws at all times and promptly report any safety or health-related concerns to the immediate supervisor.
• Support drive tests for newly received vehicles when required.
• Load vehicles properly so that shifting cargo does not create instability or accident risk.
• Plan routes sensibly, choose alternative paths when needed, and use sound judgement to save time, improve efficiency, and reduce fuel usage.
• Keep daily trip records accurate and share the required information with the Operations Assistant.
• Collect and deliver processed goods and linens to customers according to the planned schedule and any urgent requests, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Clean the vehicle regularly by removing dirt and residue based on usage, helping maintain fleet hygiene and lowering the risk of linen contamination.
• Interact with both external and internal customers in a courteous, professional, and respectful manner.

Qualifications and experience

• High School Certificate is required.
• A valid UAE licence for light duty vehicles is mandatory.
• At least 2 years of driving experience on UAE roads is required.
