Maintenance Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Maintenance Manager to oversee and optimize the maintenance and reliability functions within a food manufacturing plant. This role involves leading engineering and maintenance teams to ensure continuous production through the upkeep of manufacturing equipment and systems rather than managing facility services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise plant maintenance and engineering personnel.
• Implement and manage preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Maximize equipment uptime and minimize production interruptions.
• Maintain critical production assets including food processing machinery, refrigeration units, boilers, compressors, conveyors, motors, and pumps.
• Administer maintenance budgets, oversee spare parts inventory, manage contractors, and drive capital improvement initiatives.
• Champion equipment reliability through root cause analysis and continuous improvement programs.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Electronic Engineering.
• At least five years of leadership experience in maintenance within food production or manufacturing settings.
• Practical knowledge maintaining production line equipment rather than commercial or office facilities.
• Strong expertise in preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and monitoring related KPIs.
• Proven ability in leading teams of maintenance technicians and engineers.

Additional Information

Candidates primarily experienced in facilities management, commercial office buildings, hotels, or property maintenance are not suitable for this role. The primary focus is on manufacturing plant maintenance leadership.
