Manager Security

Role Overview

This position is responsible for leading and managing effective Security Operations to safeguard company assets, prevent crime, and foster a secure and safe work environment within the assigned area of responsibility. Collaboration with both internal and external partners is a key aspect of this role.

Key Skills and Knowledge

• Management of comprehensive security systems.
• Foundational understanding of legal frameworks including provisions from the Indian Penal Code (IPC), Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC), Arms Act, Labour Laws, and the Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act (PSARA) applicable to security services.
• Basic concepts of fire safety and disaster management.
• Introduction to technical integration within security practices.
• Familiarity with Total Quality Management as it pertains to the department.
• Ability to conduct audits and perform elementary financial management.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Good public relations skills.
• Strong interpersonal and soft skills.

Experience and Eligibility

• A minimum of 7 years served as a commissioned officer in Defence services, Coast Guard, Paramilitary forces, or Police.
• Alternatively, 7 years of experience as Group A Gazetted Officer (Assistant Commandant, Deputy Superintendent of Police or higher) in Paramilitary or Police units.
• Or at least 10 years' experience in subordinate roles within the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
• Additionally, 5 years of officer-level management experience in Corporate or Industrial Security within a recognized organization.
• This role is suited for security professionals with demonstrated expertise in managing Industrial Security, Armed Forces, Police, Central Paramilitary Forces (CPMF), or Corporate Security operations.
