Role Overview
This position is focused on keeping industrial equipment, utilities, and plant systems running reliably. The role combines mechanical and electrical upkeep, troubleshooting, preventive care, and documentation to support smooth production and maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle emergency breakdown work as well as CNC, electrical, mechanical, plant, utility, and preventive maintenance tasks to keep equipment operating efficiently.
- Carry out scheduled inspections of machines and systems to spot issues early and reduce the risk of major failures.
- Diagnose and resolve machine- and utility-related technical problems using practical troubleshooting methods.
- Work closely with other team members to solve complex maintenance issues through clear coordination and communication.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of maintenance activity, including repairs completed and materials consumed.
Desired Profile
The ideal candidate should have 0-5 years of relevant experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance environments. A diploma or ITI qualification from a recognized institute is expected. The role also calls for an applied understanding of civil engineering concepts in industrial settings, along with hands-on ability in CNC maintenance and operation. Familiarity with VMC machines will be considered an added advantage.
