About the Role
As a Merchandising Coordinator in the Merchant Acquisition Department at Indusind Bank Limited, you will manage and nurture assigned merchant portfolios, ensuring their loyalty through effective relationship management. The role involves acquiring new merchants, adhering to compliance protocols, and facilitating smooth onboarding processes. You will actively seek opportunities to cross-sell the bank's products to merchants, contributing directly to revenue growth. Maintaining continuous communication as the main merchant liaison, resolving their concerns, and delivering proactive support are key aspects of this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned merchant portfolios, focusing on relationship building and retention.
- Identify chances to promote various banking products and services among merchants to boost revenue.
- Assist in onboarding new merchants, ensuring compliance with the bank's policies and integration into the bank’s systems.
- Serve as the principal contact for merchants, promptly addressing queries and offering ongoing support.
- Track and monitor merchant performance metrics, compiling reports and sharing insights with management.
- Guarantee all merchant-related operations meet regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities along with strong interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of merchant services, banking offerings, and portfolio handling techniques.
- Proven capability to achieve sales targets and efficiently manage client relationships.
- Educational qualification: Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Finance, Business, or related fields is preferred.
