Role Overview
Kerman is looking for skilled Multidisciplinary Site Supervisors to manage Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI) projects for a Tier 1 client. This position requires a FIFO schedule from Perth on a 2:1 roster and offers an 18 to 24-month fixed-term contract, with strong prospects for extension. The position reports directly to the Deputy Manager or Site Manager and is responsible for leading on-site teams to uphold safety, quality, and performance standards throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage coordination of subcontractors, labour, equipment, and material deliveries spanning Civil, Concrete, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical/Controls, Cladding, Hydraulics, Fire Detection, Hydrocarbons, and Infrastructure disciplines.
- Support creation of look-ahead schedules and detailed daily/weekly work plans aligned with baseline project timelines.
- Provide technical and logistical assistance to subcontractors, assist with Technical Queries and variation requests.
- Review and ensure compliance with construction drawings, specifications, job instructions, and site documentation.
- Collaborate closely with Project and Site Engineers to prepare and implement work packages.
- Report program adjustments to management due to site conditions or supply delays.
- Enforce adherence to Approved for Construction drawings, baseline schedules, inspection and test plans, procedures, and client mandates.
- Lead pre-start briefings and facilitate safety initiatives including Job Hazard Analyses and inspections.
- Conduct site safety and environmental checks regularly to promote compliance.
- Handle performance management and disciplinary actions in coordination with Human Resources.
- Prepare work method statements and complete quality assurance inspections, check sheets, and checklists.
- Maintain effective communication and strong relationships with subcontractors and client representatives.
- Identify and report any scope changes promptly.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a recognized trade qualification or relevant degree/diploma or equivalent industry certification.
- Have a minimum of five years’ experience in construction site supervision or a related role.
- Schedule 26 certification is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and people management skills.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary projects and delivering NPI projects in the resources sector is preferred.
