Network Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design and implement scalable network architectures utilizing Cisco, Juniper, or Aruba equipment for diverse client environments. This role involves both on-site and remote hardware installation and configuration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy network systems using routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues affecting critical business systems.
• Conduct security assessments including vulnerability scans and devise mitigation strategies.
• Integrate server infrastructures with networks supporting virtualization platforms like VMware and Hyper-V, as well as hybrid cloud environments such as Azure and AWS.
• Install and manage SD-WAN solutions to enhance WAN connectivity across multiple client locations.
• Perform routine network audits, optimize performance, and manage firmware updates to ensure system reliability.
• Participate in pre-sales activities including demos, proofs-of-concept, and preparing solution proposals.
• Provide post-deployment support, upgrades, and user training.
• Document network configurations thoroughly, maintain as-built drawings, and comply with industry standards.
• Optimize network throughput through Quality of Service policies, load balancing, and forward capacity planning.
• Support clients in migrating from legacy systems to modern networks with minimal service interruptions.
• Offer on-call support with service level agreements focused on rapid problem resolution.
• Create custom automation scripts, for example with Python or Ansible, to streamline repetitive deployment tasks.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Possess CCNA, CCNP, or Firewall-related certifications.
• Have between 3 and 4 years of professional networking experience.
• Exposure to Value-Added Reseller (VAR) or Managed Service Provider (MSP) environments is preferred.

Compensation

This position offers a monthly salary ranging from 25000 to 30000 INR.
