Role Overview
The Officer - Accounts Payable Operations role is vital for ensuring precise and controlled aviation finance processes, especially concerning complex maintenance and procurement systems. The position supports accurate accounting and financial reporting related to AMOS transactions, covering maintenance, materials, inventory, procurement, work orders, and supplier invoices. Maintaining reliable financial records, strong controls, and addressing issues promptly in a dynamic operational environment are key functions of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate transaction data prior to posting and perform reconciliations between AMOS and Oracle Fusion systems.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in payables, accruals, inventory, and maintenance cost postings to uphold data accuracy and financial reporting integrity.
- Collaborate closely with teams including Finance, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Procurement, IT, and Operations to investigate interface errors, unmatched transactions, and mapping challenges.
- Ensure clear audit documentation, supporting evidence, and thorough process records to maintain audit readiness and process control.
- Assist with month-end closure activities and management reporting by preparing reconciliations, exception summaries, aging reports, and transaction analyses.
- Contribute financial insights for system upgrades, control designs, and process improvements aimed at enhancing efficiency and minimizing repeated issues.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in finance, accounting, accounts payable, inventory accounting, or technical accounting.
- Hands-on experience with AMOS aviation maintenance systems, MRO processes, Oracle Fusion Financials, general ledger interfaces, sub-ledger reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.
- Strong skills in reconciliation, interface error resolution, transaction mapping, and financial data analysis.
- Exhibit sound judgment, effective collaboration, and clear communication within fast-paced environments.
