Role Overview
Provide engaging one-on-one online instruction to K-12 students in diverse subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, Computer Coding, Chess, and languages including French, Spanish, and Hindi. Inspire enthusiasm for learning by simplifying challenging material and fostering student confidence across various topics from essay writing to chess strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct interactive live lessons customized to each student's learning speed and style.
- Clarify foundational concepts clearly and accessibly within your subject area.
- Support exam preparation for assessments such as GCSE, IGCSE, 11+, NAPLAN, ICAS, Selective Tests, or similar.
- Monitor student progress, assign practice exercises, and offer detailed constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with parents through consistent updates on student readiness and progress.
- Engage in ongoing training and curriculum development provided by the company.
Candidate Requirements
- Holder of a Bachelor's or Master's degree pertinent to the subject you intend to teach (English/Literature, Math/Science, Computer Science, Modern Languages, or related disciplines).
- Excellent English communication skills characterized by patience, clarity, and ability to simplify complex topics.
- Strong subject knowledge with capability to teach at exam or age-appropriate levels.
- Dependable technology setup with a computer equipped with a camera, microphone, and stable internet connection of at least 10 Mbps.
- Preferred qualifications include prior teaching experience in EdTech, tutoring centers, schools, or in competitive exam coaching.
- Familiarity with K-12 curricular frameworks and pedagogical best practices for your subject area.
- Demonstrated success in enhancing student academic outcomes.
Working Hours and Commitment
A minimum commitment of 100 teaching hours per month is required, with the option to work according to UK or Australian time zones.
Compensation and Benefits
- Earn between INR 250 to INR 400 per class depending on student duration.
- Potential monthly earnings range from INR 25,000 to INR 40,000.
