Job Overview
Our client, a prominent utilities provider, is in search of a ServiceNow Administrator to join their team. This role involves maintaining, configuring, and supporting the ServiceNow Field Service Management (FSM) application to ensure efficient operations involving scheduling tools, mobile workflows, inventory systems, and dispatcher interfaces, all aimed at maximizing technician productivity.
Key Details
- Contract position lasting 1 year
- Work location: Oakland, California with a hybrid work model
- Employment type: W-2 only; no third-party or C2C contracts accepted
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the ServiceNow FSM environment including upgrades and daily technical management
- Configure and resolve issues within the Dispatcher Workspace to improve task assignment efficiency
- Enhance the Mobile Agent application for field technicians focusing on offline workflow capabilities
- Manage work orders along with task dependencies, assignment rules, and planning of territories
- Handle parts management, stockrooms, and rules related to asset transfers
- Develop UI policies, business rules, client scripts, access control lists, and system notifications
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of direct experience administering the ServiceNow platform
- Strong understanding of dynamic scheduling, map integration, and mobile playbooks within ServiceNow FSM
- Mandatory ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
Compensation and Benefits
- Estimated pay range between $42.00 and $52.00 per hour; actual pay depends on factors such as experience, skill level, and location
