About the Role

IESE Solutions is looking to hire Operations Research Analysts to assist the U.S. Space Forces (USSF) in advancing warfighter capabilities through Space Systems Command (SSC) directorates. This position is based at Los Angeles Air Force Base, California. The role supports government weapon systems program offices by providing valuable expertise in space-based and ground systems including command and control services. Team members will leverage systems engineering development and integration skills to support capabilities that protect and defend vital space assets for the nation. The team also advises on architecture and full lifecycle systems engineering processes to meet warfighter requirements for satellites, ground-based space systems, and their command and control capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Provide acquisition support related to Advanced Space Project planning, development, prototypes, demonstrations, and concept validation.
Offer guidance and recommendations on acquisition, procurement, and source selection plans ensuring alignment with program, schedule, contract, and budgetary limitations.
Advise on contractual structures, terms, conditions, and pricing strategies that optimize budget adherence and reporting requirements.
Serve as subject matter expert supporting project baselines, management plans, memorandums of agreement, requirements traceability, reviews, resource planning, and policy implementation.
Support hosted payload acquisition planning, facilitating interface management between cost, schedule, budget, and technical performance.
Act as liaison between acquisition groups and program functional areas such as cost, schedule, contracting, technical teams, and other stakeholders.
Apply cross-disciplinary expertise spanning program management, contracting, technical knowledge, legal background, price analysis, and budget or cost management.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree is generally required in one or more of the following areas:

Business Administration
Industrial Engineering
Systems Engineering
Economics
Finance
Statistics
Mathematics
Data Analytics
Computer Science
Supply Chain Management
Management Information Systems (MIS)

Preferred advanced degrees include:

MBA
Master's in Business Analytics
Master's in Operations Management
Master's in Data Analytics
Master's in Industrial Engineering
Master's in Systems Engineering

An active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance is mandatory.
