Job Overview and Responsibilities
The Operator role involves supporting the Quality Inspector to ensure that product outputs meet the specified finished goods standards. Key duties include maintaining cleanliness of the production line daily and monthly, accurately completing daily production reports for submission to the Production Team Leader, and correctly setting up machines including size adjustments. The Operator is also responsible for careful management of raw materials both received and returned, coordinating with the Raw Material warehouse.
Additionally, the Operator must promptly communicate any machine issues to the Lead Operator and Line Setter. The role requires ensuring that all finished goods pallets, waste containers, and raw materials are correctly placed in designated locations. Strict adherence to safety guidelines and participation in safety talks led by the HSE officer is mandatory. The Operator also actively contributes to the occupational health and safety management system by engaging in its development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement efforts.
