Location and Employment
This is a remote contract position open to candidates outside OFAC-restricted countries.
About the Position
We are seeking a Python game developer skilled in Panda3D to support a cutting-edge AI training initiative. This role involves leveraging your expertise in game development to enhance next-generation AI through code reviews, technical problem-solving, and generation of quality training examples. Prior AI experience is not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and review game development tasks based on Python, C++, and Panda3D.
- Assess game logic, rendering techniques, and gameplay mechanics.
- Create and improve technical examples to aid AI training processes.
- Document technical solutions comprehensively and justify development choices.
- Work collaboratively with a distributed team to produce quality technical content.
- Engage actively in feedback cycles and quality enhancement efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of four years experience in Python game development.
- Proficient practical knowledge of Panda3D.
- Competent in Python, C++, and version control using Git/GitHub.
- Familiar with 3D game creation, rendering pipelines, and gameplay systems.
- Strong analytical abilities paired with effective communication skills.
- Capable of working autonomously in a remote setup.
Preferred Qualifications
- Contributions to open-source projects.
- Exposure to AI or machine learning endeavors.
- Understanding of contemporary game development workflows.
Contract Details
- Fully remote work arrangement.
- Expected commitment of 20 hours per week.
