At the heart of their operations is a lean, agile suite of in-house developed products including creator platforms, financial tools, internal dashboards, and the software infrastructure that supports scalable campaigns.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Full-Stack Developer, you will collaborate directly with the founder to deliver impactful results weekly. Your work will involve shipping new features on various products such as backend endpoints, user interfaces, integrations, and internal tooling. You'll independently handle well-defined tasks from planning through implementation, testing, pull requests, and reviews. Maintenance duties include managing shared internal packages for smooth cross-system changes and investigating production bugs to resolve root issues. Additionally, you'll enhance the developer experience by improving test coverage, refining abstractions, and accelerating continuous integration processes. Expect to work across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and occasionally database migrations within the same week.

Technology Stack

The technology environment is centered around a modern JavaScript and TypeScript stack. Core technologies include Node.js and React for both frontend and backend applications, Postgres for data storage, background processing workers, plus various real-time and event-driven integrations. Work will span web applications, backend services, published SDKs, and internal tools. The team heavily utilizes AI-assisted development tools, such as Claude Code, as a supportive resource rather than a shortcut.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates have at least two years of experience building production web applications using Node.js and React or comparable technologies that allow for seamless skill transfer. You demonstrate a thorough approach to reviewing existing code before making changes and are committed to addressing root causes rather than superficial fixes. The role requires comfort working with multiple code repositories, retaining cross-repository contract knowledge, and producing clear, comprehensive documentation including pull request descriptions and ticket updates. You thrive in delivering clean, scoped pull requests with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with modern authentication systems, object-relational mappers (ORMs), job queue management, or Next.js App Router.
• Experience developing or maintaining published npm SDKs.
• Background working with Discord bots or other real-time event-driven platforms.
• Knowledge of MCP server or agent tooling, Linear software, TypeScript, and SQL databases.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers direct interaction with the founding team and exposure to an advanced, industry-standard tech stack operating at scale. You will own significant projects, contributing to products used by over 30,000 users. The position provides compensation at $25 CAD per hour for 15 to 20 hours weekly, with potential for increased hours and growth opportunities.
