Job Overview

Techforce Personnel Pty Ltd is seeking skilled Plasterers to join their team for residential and commercial construction projects in Brisbane, Queensland. The role encompasses installation, repair, and finishing of plasterboard and plaster surfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install plasterboard sheets and various wall and ceiling linings.
• Apply plaster, joint compounds, and finishing materials to create smooth, even surfaces on walls and ceilings.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, repairing defects, and applying necessary undercoats or sealants.
• Install and fix decorative plasterwork, including cornices, mouldings, and architectural features.
• Set joints, sand surfaces, and ready completed sections for painting or further construction.
• Interpret construction plans, specifications, and drawings to determine materials and installation procedures.
• Inspect finished work to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
• Adhere to workplace health and safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe working environment.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a professional Plasterer.
• Proficiency in plasterboard installation and plaster application and finishing.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and plastering equipment.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail with dedication to high-quality workmanship.
• Relevant trade qualification in plastering or equivalent industry experience.

Location: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

Employment Type: Full-time, on-site position

Salary: $96000 per annum plus superannuation

Eligibility: Applicants must have legal authorization to work in Australia.
