Role Overview

This full-time, on-site role in Qatar as a Printing Machine Operator involves setting up, operating, and supervising printing machines used for apparel, uniforms, and branded items to ensure high-quality results aligning with client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare necessary materials and load printing equipment accurately.
• Configure and calibrate machines for optimal operation, including conducting test runs.
• Inspect printed products to verify color precision, registration, and durability.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly workspace.
• Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams to meet deadlines and improve printing processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in operating, adjusting, and calibrating printing machines.
• Experience in quality control of printed products, including color accuracy and print durability.
• Knowledge of handling printing materials such as inks, screens or plates, and substrates, with correct storage and usage.
• Ability to follow safety standards and perform regular machine upkeep.
• Experience in textile, apparel, or industrial printing environments is favorable.
• Capability to read and understand work orders, technical specs, and basic design layouts.
• Strong attention to detail, good time management, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work on-site in Qatar and adjust to assigned shift patterns.
• Vocational certifications in printing technology or related areas are beneficial.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with production or inventory systems is advantageous.
