About the Role
Red Bull UK is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join its London-based team focusing on managing indirect expenditure categories such as Fleet, Travel, Professional Services, Sales, Marketing, IT, Logistics, and Facilities. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the role centers on overseeing daily operations related to Travel and Fleet categories and supporting procurement administrative tasks including vendor onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary operational liaison with the Fleet Management Company and associated suppliers, ensuring smooth vehicle allocation, onboarding, lifecycle management, and eventual return.
- Manage Wings Minis marketing fleet requirements including vehicle conversions, maintenance, and tracking.
- Coordinate onboarding and training initiatives for all drivers and oversee operational compliance tasks such as fuel/mileage reporting, license verification, telematics, and vehicle movements.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including HR and Finance to align fleet needs by function and role, assisting fleet users with operational requirements.
- Act as the main point of contact with the Travel Management Company, maintaining accurate employee travel data and managing long-term accommodation requests.
- Lead the "MICE" program development delivering meetings, incentives, conferences, and events services for UK business users, including training and ensuring adherence to travel policies.
- Support travelers with travel-related queries, maintain travel policy compliance, and train business users.
- Drive sustainability initiatives supporting Red Bull’s net-zero goals specifically through fleet and travel operations.
- Manage procure-to-pay processes related to vendor onboarding by reviewing and approving new vendor information and coordinating with the Accounts Payable team.
- Generate insightful data reports to identify cost-saving, efficiency, and sustainability improvements across fleet and travel categories.
- Handle financial duties such as invoice approvals and coding related to fleet and travel expenses.
- Lead projects and initiatives to advance operational effectiveness within assigned categories.
Required Experience and Expertise
- Proven background in procurement, supply chain operations, or comparable operational roles.
- Effective stakeholder management skills, managing both internal departments and external vendors.
- Advanced data analysis capability, particularly strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent time management, communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
- Strong focus on priority execution with the ability to deliver consistent high-quality outcomes.
