Role Overview

The Procurement Supervisor will be responsible for strengthening supplier relationships, improving procurement efficiency, and ensuring that purchasing activities are carried out in line with internal policies and quality requirements. Main Duties

  • Plan and roll out procurement strategies that improve supplier partnerships and make the supply chain more efficient.
  • Source, assess, and add new suppliers to expand the vendor base and encourage competition and fresh ideas.
  • Lead commercial discussions with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, appropriate quality, and reliable delivery terms.
  • Manage the procurement workflow from the time a purchase request is received until the purchase order is issued, while staying aligned with company procedures.
  • Track supplier results and drive improvement actions to raise supplier capability and service standards.
  • Keep price records, product details, and supplier catalogues up to date so buying decisions are well informed.
  • Follow up on pending orders and accelerate deliveries to ensure materials arrive on time.
  • Apply inventory control practices that keep stock at efficient levels, reduce shortages, and control costs.
  • Work closely with internal teams and suppliers to resolve procurement-related concerns and maintain smooth communication.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and process records to support audits and quality management requirements.
  • Prepare and review performance metrics to assess supplier performance and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Purchasing and Supply, or a closely related discipline.
  • Professional procurement or supply chain certification is an added advantage.
  • Solid understanding of procurement practices, supplier management, contract handling, and inventory control.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as SAP.
