Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) supports individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities, as well as autism, across 15 locations through residential and day services. Their mission is to assist residents and day attendees in leading ordinary, fulfilling lives.

Position Overview

We are seeking Programme Assistants to join our team in Dingle on a permanent, part-time basis (35 hours per week). This role offers the chance to collaborate within a dedicated team, benefit from competitive remuneration, and engage in continuous learning within a prominent national organization.

Requirements and Skills

• Minimum qualification of QQI Level 5 Major Award or equivalent in Community, Health, or Social Care.
• At least one year of experience working with vulnerable adults or those with intellectual disabilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of national and sector-specific social care policies and developments relevant to disability services.
• Experience facilitating programmes for adults with intellectual disabilities or autism.
• Familiarity with the New Directions model for day support services as endorsed by the HSE, with a commitment to promoting this model.
• Ability to implement individualized plans to address the ongoing needs of supported individuals.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, both verbal and written.
• Competence in IT applications pertinent to the role, including Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
• A full valid driver's license and access to a personal car are essential.

Additional Information
