About the Role
We are seeking a Provider Relations Lead to manage and enhance strategic partnerships between healthcare providers and a large healthcare program in the United States. This position involves overseeing collaboration, communication, and service quality to optimize provider experiences and healthcare outcomes while leading a team of specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Provider Relations Specialists by assigning duties, mentoring, supporting their growth, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Establish and nurture strong partnerships with a range of healthcare providers including physicians, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare entities.
- Act as the primary contact for resolving complex provider inquiries, concerns, and relationship issues in a timely manner.
- Provide education to providers about policies, procedures, offered services, and compliance standards to enhance understanding and engagement.
- Design and implement communication strategies and campaigns supporting program initiatives with consistent messaging.
- Partner with internal teams and external collaborators to grow and optimize the provider network.
- Track provider performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities to enhance service delivery and health outcomes.
- Ensure all provider relations activities comply with relevant regulations, contracts, and accreditation requirements.
- Analyze provider data, generate reports, and deliver strategic insights to leadership for informed decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement by recognizing trends, challenges, and operational improvement possibilities.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field mandatory.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in healthcare administration, provider relations, network management, or a similar role.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and overseeing provider-focused projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare regulations, managed care frameworks, and payer-provider relationship dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build trust with diverse healthcare stakeholders.
- Strong data analysis skills capable of interpreting metrics, recognizing trends, and formulating actionable recommendations.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms such as Salesforce is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Collaborative attitude with the capability to work effectively across various internal departments and external partners.
- Must reside in the United States and be equipped to work from a remote location.
