Overview
Qatar Executive is hiring a MOCC Engineer for its Doha, Qatar operation. The role focuses on tracking technical defects across the QR commercial fleet, strengthening dispatch reliability, minimizing delays and aircraft groundings, and helping deliver on-time departures and a better customer journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in the 24/7/365 QE MOCC shift operation and report to the QE MOCC Lead Engineer.
- Maintain clear and detailed shift logs and handovers so the next team receives complete operational information.
- Follow the procedures established for the QE MOCC by the Lead Engineer.
- Escalate aircraft defects that may affect schedules or operations to the QE Senior Manager CAMO and align on the proposed corrective action.
- Track recurring defects on the QE commercial fleet and suggest corrective measures that improve reliability.
- Coordinate with QE CAMO to propose changes to routine task frequencies where this can improve reliability and reduce maintenance costs away from the main base.
- Share relevant technical discrepancy information from away-from-base operations with QE IOC, Fleet Management, and QE CAMO.
- Arrange support from contracted and non-contracted MRO providers whenever needed to keep the fleet airworthy.
- Ensure work carried out by QR145 and third-party MROs complies with the QE CAME requirements.
- Work with the QE Supply Chain Manager to secure parts and materials needed to correct discrepancies away from base and protect schedules.
Qualifications
- A diploma or equivalent qualification plus at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of certifying experience, including 4 years in a MOCC environment.
- A type rating is required, preferably on Gulfstream G650ER/G700 or Global 5000 (BD-700) aircraft.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
