Role Overview
The quantitative trading teams study global markets to better understand traded products and exchanges. They use strong statistical analysis and data mining to build forecasts and predictive trading models aimed at improving trading outcomes.
What You Will Do
- Work alongside experienced traders and quantitative researchers to support strategy evaluation, market understanding, and technical execution.
- Analyze strategy performance in depth and identify what is driving results.
- Assist in diagnosing difficult infrastructure and system issues.
- Help adjust algorithmic strategies quickly as market conditions change.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Skills and Experience Needed
- A strong analytical approach with the ability to think carefully, spot patterns, and make sound decisions.
- Curiosity and self-motivation, especially for exploring high-frequency trading and ways to improve outcomes.
- Genuine interest in financial markets, including both microstructure and broader market behavior.
- At least 2 years of programming or software engineering experience, with Python preferred.
- Working knowledge of Linux administration.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to travel and connect across a global organization.
- Dependable and consistent availability.
Bonus Considerations
Additional value will be given to candidates with exposure to statistics or machine learning.
