Role Overview
We are seeking a Regional Operations Manager responsible for overseeing operations across a group of depots. The role involves ensuring exceptional service standards, optimal fleet performance, strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), mentoring Depot Leaders, and promoting operational excellence. This position reports directly to the Regional Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor Depot Leaders at multiple sites.
- Enhance operational performance and elevate customer satisfaction levels.
- Enforce compliance with SOPs to maintain service uniformity.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and initiate corrective measures as needed.
- Manage profit and loss accounts, budgeting processes, and expense control.
- Work collaboratively with Central Operations, Finance, and Human Resources.
- Travel extensively—up to 50% of the time—to provide hands-on support to depot teams.
Candidate Profile
- 7 to 10 years of practical experience in operational roles within car rental, logistics, retail, or hospitality sectors.
- 3 to 5 years of leadership experience managing multiple locations or large-volume depots.
- Proven expertise in depot financial management, including budgeting, controlling expenses, and handling supplier partnerships.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; knowledge of additional local languages is advantageous.
- Valid driver's license and readiness to operate campervans.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach and aptitude to lead teams in fast-paced, changing environments.
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays when required.
- Genuine interest in the product and eagerness to understand technical features of campervans.
