Role overview
Vistas Global is looking for a seasoned banking professional to lead financial institutions coverage with a strong emphasis on cross-selling and business expansion. This role is centered on growing client relationships across the Financial Institutions portfolio, with particular focus on Turkey and Egypt.
The position is designed to strengthen penetration across lending, global transaction banking, cash management, and global markets offerings. You will collaborate with relationship, product, operations, and risk teams to deepen client engagement, improve wallet share, and support sustainable revenue growth.
What you will do
- Shape and run coverage plans for financial institutions clients in Turkey and Egypt.
- Maintain and grow strategic relationships with existing FI clients.
- Spot opportunities to increase engagement and expand wallet share.
- Support commercial growth through proactive account management.
- Build and execute cross-sell plans across multiple banking solutions.
- Increase product penetration across lending, GTB, cash management, and global markets.
- Identify fresh business potential within current client portfolios.
- Contribute to revenue growth by promoting broader product usage and working across teams.
- Present and position offerings such as corporate lending, trade finance, cash management, treasury solutions, FX, global markets products, and transaction banking services.
- Partner with product teams to design client-specific solutions.
- Refine product offerings based on client needs and market developments.
- Support improvements in onboarding, servicing, fulfillment, and monitoring across the client lifecycle.
- Look for ways to streamline operational processes and improve the customer experience.
- Work closely with relationship managers, product teams, operations, risk and compliance, credit, treasury, and global markets.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to ensure solutions are delivered effectively.
- Assess market opportunities in Turkey and Egypt and track client and industry trends.
- Contribute to market expansion plans and new client acquisition efforts when needed.
- Review portfolio results, client profitability, cross-sell progress, and revenue performance.
- Prepare business updates, reports, and management dashboards.
- Track KPIs tied to client penetration and product usage.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal banking policies.
- Support KYC, AML, and other compliance-related processes.
- Work with risk and compliance teams to maintain sound business practices.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, business administration, economics, commerce, or a related field.
- An MBA or master’s degree in finance or business administration is preferred.
- At least 12 years of banking experience.
- Strong background in financial institutions coverage.
- Hands-on experience in corporate banking, global transaction banking, global markets, lending, and cash management.
- Proven ability to drive cross-selling and revenue growth.
- Exposure to banking markets in Turkey and/or Egypt is strongly preferred.
- Experience in client onboarding, operating model transformation, or client lifecycle management is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders across commercial, operational, risk, and compliance functions.
