Research Assistant

Position Overview

Nova Logistics is looking to hire a dedicated and meticulous Research Assistant to support various research operations including data gathering, analysis, literature synthesis, and report generation. The role plays an integral part in delivering high-quality research outputs that aid decision-making and project success.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive literature reviews and integrate findings from multiple sources.
• Collect and organize both qualitative and quantitative data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain and update research databases diligently.
• Validate collected data and conduct statistical or thematic analyses as appropriate.
• Compile and present summaries, detailed reports, presentations, and other documentation to relevant stakeholders.
• Work alongside internal teams to aid research design and oversee project progress.
• Ensure compliance with established research protocols and contribute to enhancing research methods.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Social Sciences, Business, Economics, Statistics, Psychology, Public Health, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related disciplines.
• Strong grounding in both qualitative and quantitative research techniques.
• Capability in executing thorough literature reviews and synthesizing complex data.
• Expertise in collecting, managing, verifying, and analyzing research data.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and interpreting results.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
• Experience with statistical software such as SPSS, R, Python, Stata, SAS, or equivalents is favorable.
• Knowledge in survey design, questionnaire construction, and varied data collection methods.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of producing clear reports and presentations.
• Effective organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple projects concurrently.
• Ability to operate independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Adherence to confidentiality and research ethics throughout data handling and reporting.
