About the Role
Join DSV's Naas team as a Road Freight Operator where your efforts will directly contribute to maintaining a seamless supply chain. You will oversee the entire transport process, ensuring shipments are delivered efficiently and on schedule, fostering confidence among customers and keeping operations fluid.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end transport operations from booking to final delivery.
- Engage proactively with customers, internal departments, hauliers, and international collaborators to ensure smooth functioning.
- Arrange transport capacity and negotiate pricing effectively.
- Prepare all necessary transport documentation and handle invoicing along with operational paperwork.
- Track shipments vigilantly to anticipate and resolve any issues.
- Adhere to service level agreements, standard operating procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Control costs to support targets related to revenue generation and profitability.
Candidate Profile
- Excellent organizational abilities paired with strong problem-solving skills.
- Confident communicator with a customer-focused attitude.
- Capable of working autonomously under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience in freight forwarding or transport is a benefit.
Working Hours
The position operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
