Role overview
This position is for a Sales Engineer focused on B2B selling of industrial automation products in Ahmedabad and surrounding industrial areas such as Kathwada, Changodar, and Vatva.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential customers within the assigned territory.
- Travel regularly to meet prospective clients and support business development.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Understand client needs and translate them into suitable solutions.
- Prepare quotations, handle negotiations, and close deals according to company policies and terms.
- Work closely with the production, dispatch, and accounts teams to coordinate shipment and order processing.
- Provide post-sale assistance and service support to customers.
Candidate profile
The role suits candidates with a background in electrical, electronics, instrumentation, or mechatronics engineering, along with practical exposure to B2B industrial automation sales. Strong knowledge of target customers and excellent written and spoken communication are important.
Experience required
Applicants should have 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in B2B industrial automation sales.
Working conditions
This job involves travel for up to 60% of the working time.
