Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha, where the Script Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining script continuity and accuracy throughout pre-production and production phases for TV or video projects. The role involves meticulous tracking and communication of all script modifications to relevant team members, ensuring consistency and coherence in dialogue and actions during filming.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly review screenplays and shooting scripts, marking up necessary edits and changes.
- Work closely with directors and producers to align on script-related updates and ensure narrative consistency.
- Monitor and document dialogue and scene details on set to guarantee continuity in visual and storytelling elements.
- Assist in scheduling tasks related to script management and prepare detailed script breakdowns.
- Contribute to producing written materials such as script reports and continuity logs to support ongoing production processes and business continuity.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient in screenplay reading, analysis, and scriptwriting refinement.
- Experience in television production and pre-production workflows, including knowledge of set operations and shooting schedules.
- Familiarity with business continuity planning as it applies to maintaining smooth production operations and documentation.
- Educational background in Film, Media, Communications, or an equivalent diploma or degree; relevant professional experience is also acceptable.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organization skills to manage multiple script versions and production documents under strict deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Prior experience in script supervision or related roles focused on continuity in TV, film, or media productions is highly desirable.
