Scrum Master

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Scrum Master to guide Agile delivery teams and promote the effective implementation of Scrum and Agile methodologies in a substantial enterprise setting. The successful candidate will exemplify servant leadership, inspire ongoing enhancement efforts, and empower dynamic cross-functional teams to generate meaningful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups to ensure smooth Scrum adoption.
• Coach teams and stakeholders in Agile philosophies, values, and practices to enhance understanding and application.
• Identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder delivery progress while fostering ongoing process improvements.
• Partner with Product Owners and delivery teams to optimize business value delivery.
• Assist with planning, prioritization, and coordination of Agile initiatives at the portfolio level.
• Track team performance metrics and encourage growth of Agile maturity throughout the organization.
• Promote a transparent, collaborative, and high-functioning team environment.
• Engage with business and technical stakeholders closely to ensure project success.

Required Experience and Skills

• Over 8 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master within software development or DevOps contexts.
• In-depth expertise in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Extreme Programming (XP).
• Proficiency in running Agile ceremonies and backlog management processes.
• Demonstrated capacity to mentor teams and stakeholders on Agile best practices and principles.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience spearheading Agile transformations in large organizations.
• Familiarity with Agile engineering practices including writing User Stories, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Automated Testing, and Pair Programming.
• Strong aptitude for problem-solving, conducting facilitation sessions, and resolving conflicts.
• Ability to motivate and influence teams and stakeholders without formal authority.
• Professional Scrum or Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe certification, or related credentials are highly advantageous.
