Scrum Master (Agile)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Scrum Master for a 6-month contract position based in Sydney. The successful candidate will lead the complete delivery cycle of medium to large scale projects, working closely with business stakeholders and multiple teams to ensure alignment and achieve excellent customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead end-to-end delivery from project inception to completion for significant initiatives within complex projects.
• Collaborate with business owners and stakeholders to optimize delivery outcomes for customers.
• Coordinate across various teams to guarantee aligned delivery efforts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and provide influence to mitigate risks and resolve challenges.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Operate within the organizational delivery frameworks applying solid management principles.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong understanding of software development processes.
• Proficient knowledge of Scrum methodologies and artifacts such as user stories, definition of done, automated testing, and backlog refinement.
• Familiarity with other Agile frameworks like Crystal and XP.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with servant leadership qualities.
• Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

This is a contract position based onsite in Sydney for 6 months duration.
