Located near the FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services in West Virginia, Fusion Technology LLC is a HUBZone Small Business established in 2007 by an engineer. It specializes in delivering critical IT solutions for US Government and Intel community programs.
Position Overview
This fully remote role requires an active DOD Secret Clearance. The Scrum Master will guide Agile teams, supporting a federal law enforcement customer in product lifecycle management through Scrum methodologies, fostering collaboration, continuous improvement, and SAFe practices across enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply Scrum frameworks throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Guide teams in Agile techniques, uphold team norms and rules.
- Facilitate team progress towards goals and lead Agile ceremonies including daily scrums, sprint planning, and demonstrations.
- Remove impediments and foster an environment that drives Agile quality and innovation.
- Build and coach high-performing teams, coordinating across multiple teams and departments.
- Support Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimation and related activities.
- Provide constructive feedback to teams for continuous enhancement.
- Advise government stakeholders on incremental improvements and participate in Program Increment (PI) and Agile Release Train (ART) events.
- Manage coordination between development and infrastructure teams.
- Monitor and report on team performance metrics, including velocity.
Required Qualifications
- Active DOD Secret Clearance is mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- 3-5 years experience working in Agile environments.
- Proficiency with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and Kendis tools.
- Strong skills in sprint planning, Agile ceremonies facilitation, and impediment removal.
- Team coaching and mentoring abilities, with conflict resolution skills.
- Technical background in development or systems engineering preferred.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent certification required.
