About the Role

As a Senior Designer, you will be instrumental in leading the development of impactful design solutions that enhance our projects and inspire colleagues.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead design teams in creating and implementing signage, environmental graphics, identity, branding, and print projects.
• Assist the Creative Director by guiding the team in producing conceptual renderings, artwork, graphic materials, and design specifications.
• Engage directly with clients to understand project requirements and deliver compelling design presentations.
• Develop wayfinding strategies, message schedules, and signage placement plans.
• Build and maintain effective partnerships with clients and suppliers.
• Collaborate with design and project management teams to align on budget, timelines, and project goals.
• Manage client communications through all project phases.
• Ensure projects meet predefined goals and quality standards.
• Promote a vibrant, enthusiastic design culture within the studio.
• Mentor and support junior designers in their tasks and professional growth.

Qualifications and Experience

• A college diploma in graphic design or a related discipline.
• At least 5 to 7 years of professional experience; a strong portfolio showcasing signage design expertise is advantageous.
• Experience in experiential graphic design, architecture, or industrial design environments.
• Understanding of signage and wayfinding production methods is a plus.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A proactive learner with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

Additional Information

The position follows a hybrid work pattern requiring three days onsite and two days remote in Toronto, Ontario. The salary range for this full-time role is $85,000 to $100,000 per year.
