Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Senior DevOps Engineers to participate in a paid remote AI training initiative centered on Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The role involves constructing authentic engineering-like prompts, setting up LocalStack sandbox environments, and developing gold-standard solutions with passing end-to-end tests to assist AI models in mastering Terraform, AWS CDK, and CloudFormation. This flexible, asynchronous, and fully remote position suits senior engineers specializing in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure looking for project-based engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop authentic natural language prompts that simulate real engineering tickets with realistic ambiguity and professional contexts to train AI on practical scenarios.
- Configure and maintain LocalStack sandboxes, which emulate AWS locally, to test infrastructure tasks accurately.
- Create the base infrastructure state and a "golden solution" that includes automated tests which must pass end-to-end to validate functionality.
- Ensure all tasks meet strict quality standards; tasks lacking depth or clarity will be declined.
- Evaluate and select the correct responses from two AI-generated answers to infrastructure-related queries.
- Compose concise prompts serving as foundational input for AI models to expand upon.
Qualifications
- Proven senior-level experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Hands-on expertise with at least one major IaC platform: Priority given to AWS CDK, Terraform (HCL), or CloudFormation; familiarity with Pulumi, AzureRM, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet is a plus.
- Strong programming skills with at least one infrastructure scripting language such as TypeScript, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Excellent written communication skills in English with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and adhere to strict style guides.

Compensation and Work Arrangement
- Earn up to 50 USD per hour, with additional incentives; remuneration depends on expertise level and specific project needs.
- Payments are processed through PayPal and AirTM platforms.
- Work fully remotely with flexible hours; workload varies by project availability with typical commitments of 5-10 hours weekly and up to 40 hours maximum.
- Complimentary access to advanced AI tools valued over 200 USD monthly, including GPT and Claude, provided at no cost.
