Job Responsibilities and Required Expertise

• Minimum of 7 years' practical experience in Java programming, focusing on Java 8 or later versions.
• Proficient in Oracle WebLogic 12c administration and deploying enterprise applications on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or Linux environments.
• Experience in transitioning legacy Java systems to OpenShift or Kubernetes platforms.
• Expertise with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and modernization via microservices architecture.
• Competent in SOAP web services development, including WSDL and XSD, particularly using contract-first approaches.
• Hands-on knowledge of Apache Axis2 and/or Apache CXF frameworks.
• Familiarity with build and automation tools such as Gradle, Groovy scripting, Jenkins, and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle databases, including use of Spring JDBC and crafting stored procedures.
• Experience integrating mainframe systems like CICS and MQ within enterprise environments.
• Skilled in testing tools including JUnit for unit testing and SoapUI/Postman for API testing.
• Practical knowledge of production support tasks such as troubleshooting, logging mechanisms, monitoring, and request tracing.
• Understanding of security best practices, including secure coding, Transport Layer Security (TLS), Single Sign-On (SSO), and managing application secrets.
• Excellent communication abilities, problem-solving aptitude, ownership mentality, and experience working collaboratively across different teams.
